Joining the Harlow Group

Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate researchers are a vital part of our group. If you’re interested in pursuing research in the lab,
please email Prof. Harlow with:

• A copy of your unofficial transcript
• Your resume/CV
• A short description of your research interests and career ambitions

Graduate Students

Ph.D. students are admitted through the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry
(not directly into research groups). If you are already a graduate student in Chemistry at the University of Oregon,
please contact Prof. Harlow to discuss potential rotation projects for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Prospective Ph.D. students should apply to the graduate program through the department’s
application portal. Admission decisions are made by the department,
and students join research groups after rotations in their first year.

Postdoctoral Researchers

At present, we do not have funding available for postdoctoral researchers. If you are interested in future opportunities,
you are welcome to reach out to Prof. Harlow with your CV to be considered should positions become available.
